I had this *moment*. When I was pregnant with the Little Man, I signed up on this site and they send lovely little emails about milestones and the like. I did the same for Little Miss.
A couple of days ago, I received an update and it started with "Your toddler...". I thought it odd for the Little Man to be called a "toddler" at 4 1/2 and then I realized it was referring to Little Miss. *sigh*

I know that feeling! :-) It happened to me as well only with me it was regarding potty training. They grow up way too fast but I can't say I miss the diapers At 4 1/2 (where we are also at with the big boy) the diapers are a thing of the past. Have a lovely Saturday.
ReplyDeleteOh, they do grow up fast. My oldest step-daughter is 30. It is weird to think about. You have to savor the moments!;)
ReplyDeleteI know the feeling too! My youngest is 6 now and each time I got the "last" baby and toddler thing it always hurt a bit. Then last year when he turned 6 I got my last Fisher Price email!! Plus, today is my first babies 13th birthday!! The time goes painfully fast!! I guess we can just enjoy each minute!!
ReplyDeleteI miss the times when my 4 year old was in his pre-speech & wobbly phase. I sometimes catch myself watching him wondering where all that time between birthing and now went.
